Welcome to the second issue of AHRF News, the quarterly newsletter of the African HIV Research Forum. AHRF News hopes to follow a format of providing research and Prevention updates in alternate issues. This issue is a Prevention Update and features an article about how voluntary counselling and testing is used as a prevention intervention.

Details about how to submit papers to the next National African HIV Prevention Conference are on page 4 and Page 5 gives information about how to book a place at evaluation workshops being run in London by the Migration Ethnicity and Sexual Health Programme.
