The African HIV Research Forum (AHRF) is a network of researchers and practitioners that aim to improve the development, transfer and dissemination of evidence based practice and research in HIV and sexual health involving African communities in the UK. The African Health Policy Network (AHPN) is the current host agency to the AHRF.
The AHRF was established in its current form in 2000 and launched in September 2001. Read the AHRF Objectives
The AHRF is a forum that brings together a wide membership of stakeholders and community groups to focus on research issues related to the Africans in the UK. Forum membership is currently free.
Becoming a member: individuals automatically become members when they register to attend an AHRF-run event or sign-up to receive AHRF newsletters, emails or other electronic communications.
The AHRF is co-ordinated by a steering committee.
