Dr Ade Fakoya
Dr. Fakoya is a Consultant Physican in HIV and Sexual Health at Newham General Hospital. He is also Senior Programme Officer for Clinical Care at the International HIV/AIDS Alliance
He has an interest in provision of care for marginalised communities and has been involved in several research projects looking at HIV issues within African communities.
Dr Fakoya is a member of the Executive Committee of the British HIV Association and has worked as a consultant for the African HIV Policy Network, Cafod and other organisations, both at home and overseas. |
Dr. Jane Anderson
Dr Anderson has been involved in the clinical care of people with HIV infection for over 20 years and is Director of the newly established Centre for the Study of Sexual Health and HIV at Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
She is an honorary Senior Lecturer in HIV Medicine at Barts and The London, Queen Mary’s School of Medicine and Dentistry. Recent research includes work with women from African backgrounds living with HIV in London, and an ongoing project with African men. She is the Honorary Secretary of the British HIV Association, a patron of the Terrence Higgins Trust and a medical advisor to Positively Women. |
